The users expect to have a single pane of glass visibility into key attributes to manage better the activities they need to perform while getting their job done more efficiently and effectively. With the new home dashboard available to the users, the users can gain upfront visibility into the recent files and the bookmarked folders in one single view enabling them to have a better and more efficient collaboration experience like opening the recently accessed files and navigating to the bookmarked folders much faster.
The users can set the home dashboard as their default view such that they land on the home dashboard when they log in.
The buttons shown at the bottom of the home dashboard will depend on the type of user seeing the dashboard. The administrator will see all three buttons, as shown in the screenshot above. The power user will not see the “All Private Folders” button, while the standard user will not see any buttons.

Marking the Home Dashboard as the Default View
The new home dashboard can be marked as the default view by the user by clicking on the link "Set as the default view", as shown in the screenshot below.
Once the user marks any other folder as their default view, the home dashboard will no longer be the default view for that user.
Opening a Recent File from the Home Dashboard
The user can open any recent files displayed on the home dashboard by clicking on the file name.
Navigating to a Bookmarked Folder from the Home Dashboard
The user can navigate to any bookmarked folders displayed on the home dashboard by clicking on the folder name.
Removing a Bookmarked Folder from the Home Dashboard
The user can remove any of the bookmarked folders displayed on the home dashboard by clicking on the "Remove bookmark" icon, as shown in the screenshot below.
The user will be prompted for confirmation to remove the bookmark as shown below, and only upon user confirmation the bookmark will be removed.
If the user removed any bookmarks from the home dashboard, the same would get reflected under the bookmarks menu item on the left menu bar.
