New Features And Enhancements
Microsoft Purview Integration - Document Labels
Egnyte now offers integration with Microsoft Purview (also known as Azure Information Protection or Microsoft Information Protection), allowing it to access and apply label definitions directly to files stored within the Egnyte repository.
Egnyte stamps the documents stored in Collaborate with Microsoft Purview label definitions, enabling the customers to leverage the DLP (Data Loss Prevention) functionalities defined in Microsoft and/or third-party DLP solution providers.
This feature is available to customers on the full Enterprise plan.
Audit Reports Available Under Reports Section
Audit Reports are now available under the reporting center in Secure & Govern. There are three audit reports available as User Actions, Content Lifecycle Actions, and Legal Holds report. The users can view, create, edit, and delete these reports.
Auto-Remediation - Unused Group And Empty Group Support
Users can now create auto-remediation rules for Unused Group and Empty Group as the issue type.
Possible actions include delegating the issue.
On-Demand Migration And Replication - Summary Reports And Updates in Job Details
Users can now view the step-by-step progress of the migration and replication processes, with the status auto-refreshing upon the completion of each step. A detailed migration summary report and replication summary report is also available for respective jobs’ details page. Additionally, users now have 120 days to finalize the migration, instead of the 90 days previously allowed.
On-demand migration (only Share Point Online content source) and replication are available to a limited number of customers. These features can be enabled upon customer request. Please contact the Support team to get the features enabled.
