Improved Information for Issue and Sensitive Content Views
The Issue and Sensitive Content pages now provide information on the number of items in the currently filtered view and the total number of items.
Support For Microsoft Azure as a Destination for External Replication (Limited Availability)
Egnyte’s External Replication now includes Microsoft Azure as a destination, along with Amazon S3 and Wasabi. This allows users to replicate their Egnyte data to a third-party cloud to help meet cyber insurance and security compliance requirements.
- The External Replication feature is available to all customers having the External Replication add-on. This add-on is offered for Enterprise Lite, Enterprise, Essentials, Elite, and Ultimate plans. Contact your account manager or Egnyte Sales team for more information.
- Support for Microsoft Azure as a destination for External Replication is currently in Limited Availability. To request this feature, contact our Products team
Customize True-Up Schedules for External Replication and Cloud Migrations
Egnyte now provides the ability to customize the true-up schedules in external replication and cloud migrations. Users can now choose the frequency, date and even the exact time they want their true-ups to be at.
Power User Role Entitlements - Owner To At Least Full Permissions
Power Users can now see issues and sensitive contents for the folders where they have at least Full Permissions. Previously, this access was limited to folders where they had Owner Permissions.
Power User-directed Emails - Owner To At Least Full Permissions
Power Users can now see issue alerts and sensitive content alerts pertaining to the folders where they have at least Full Permissions via Egnyte Secure & Govern update emails.
The changes in Collaborate are applicable only to the customers active on Unified User Directory Management for Collaborate and Secure & Govern
Power User Role Entitlements for New Egnyte Customers
'Allow any power user in linked Egnyte domains to get access to Secure & Govern' in Settings -> User Management will be default-toggled to ON for all new Egnyte customers. Previously, the toggle was switched to OFF.
Issues Addressed
Support for S3 Encryption Sources for Migration to Egnyte
Cloud migrations now supports encrypted AWS S3 buckets to migrate data to Egnyte for the domains with cloud migrations feature enabled.
