The Issues View displays all open issues found by Egnyte Secure & Govern across all content sources. Entitled users can view issue details, delegate issues to other users, export issue reports and remediate issues within the Egnyte Secure & Govern Issues View.
Issue Severity
Each issue is assigned a Severity score based on the issue type and the nature of the item to which the issue pertains. For instance, an Unused Group issue has a severity of 1, whereas a Public Link issue that concerns a file with sensitive content may have a severity of 9. The user can sort by issue severity to quickly review and triage the most important issues.
Issue Filters
Users can narrow the list of issues shown by using the filters in the left-hand pane. For instance, they can choose to see only issues of a specific type, found after a certain date, with specific severity or by sensitive content type. These filters can be combined so users can view what they want at any given time. By default, the issue list is sorted by issue update time, with the newest issues on top.
Issue Details
Users can view the details of each issue, by selecting and reviewing the issue detail in the right-hand pane. After reviewing the details, users can write comments, delegate it to another user or remediate the issue immediately.
