This is intended for users who are new to Migration App.

Migration App is currently in Limited Availability, but quite stable. We invite any Customers interested in using the product in a self-service manner to engage Egnyte Professional Services or their Customer Success Manager to have it enabled for their domain.

First Things First – Run a Speed Test

Please run a quick Speed Test and email a screen capture to llatham@egnyte.com. Here’s how:

From the Windows host machine connected to your source content, (the virtual or physical machine where you install the Migration App Agent) open an Internet browser and navigate to https://<yourdomain>.egnyte.com/speed-test/.

This checks for the available bandwidth from the on-premises server to your domain in the Egnyte cloud.It’s helpful to have a baseline recorded before you begin. This can help us assist you if you encounter any throughput issues.
