New Features and Enhancements
Homepage Preferences Sync
Homepage Preferences Sync is now available in the mobile experience, keeping the User Homepage consistent across all phones and tablets on iOS and Android signed in with the same account. Customizations made on one device — such as homepage layout, widgets, and appearance settings — are automatically shared and reflected across all devices.
AI Chat Enhancements
Source and Model Selector
Source and Model Selection has been added to Copilot Chat on Android, allowing greater control over how responses are generated. In addition to Egnyte content (which is always included), optional web sources can be enabled, and a single large language model can be selected from the supported models to power the conversation. The model selector is also available in the Document AI feature.
Linked Source Files in Chat
Egnyte Copilot Chat now supports file links in chat responses on Android, providing direct access to referenced content. File links display the file name and format, with an option to open and view the referenced file from within the chat experience.
Improve Prompt
Improve Prompt is now available in Copilot chat on Android, allowing input to be automatically refined for clearer or more effective interactions. The feature provides an option to enhance a prompt and insert the improved version directly into the conversation.
Q&A Session Continuity
Copilot Q&A now persists on Android, keeping previous questions and answers when navigating back to a knowledge base.
