The new User Homepage in the Egnyte iOS app is designed to provide faster access to essential files, tasks, and tools. Interactive widgets and personalization options make it easier to complete work directly from the homepage, reducing navigation time and improving productivity.
The User Homepage is available only on devices running iOS 18 or a later version.

Overview
The homepage consolidates frequently accessed content and actions in a single view. Files, tasks, recent items, Egnyte Copilot, and Smart Upload suggestions can be accessed without navigating through multiple folders or menus. This creates a more streamlined and efficient mobile experience.

Available Widgets
The following widgets are available on the homepage:
Files & Folders
Provides quick entry points to commonly accessed folders, such as Shared or personal Private folders.
Quick Access
The Quick Access widget offers streamlined, one-tap entry to commonly used actions. These actions include:
- Scan document – Enables documents to be scanned and saved as PDF files to Egnyte.
- Take photo or video – Opens the Egnyte camera to capture photos or videos, which are then saved directly to Egnyte.
- Upload photo or video – Enables photos or videos from the device’s Photos app to be added to Egnyte.
- Upload file – Allows files stored on the device to be uploaded to Egnyte.
- Geotagged photos – Provides access to the feature for locating photos associated with a specific place selected on a map.
Recent Files
Displays documents accessed most recently, allowing fast reopening without searching.
Egnyte Copilot
Provides access to AI-powered Knowledge Bases, which turns selected folders into intelligent information hubs.
Tasks
Shows assigned workflows with details such as due dates and task owners.
Smart Upload
Enables direct uploads of photos, scans, and files into designated locations from the homepage.
Recent Project Folders
Lists projects that were recently opened in the mobile app or in the Egnyte WebUI.
The Egnyte Copilot, Recent Projects, and Smart Upload widgets are only visible and available to customers whose current Egnyte plan includes these features.

Customization Options
The homepage can be customized by selecting the Edit button to better align with individual work needs:
Widget Selection
Widgets can be shown or hidden as needed. In Edit mode, a widget can be hidden by tapping the minus (-) icon in the upper-left corner of the widget.
Additionally widgets can be added by selecting More -> Add widgets and tapping the widget to be included in the pop-up window.
Widget Order
Widgets may be rearranged in Edit mode by dragging and dropping them into the preferred order.
Widget Resizing
Widgets can be resized in Edit mode using the resize icon in the lower-right corner of the widget. Dragging the icon to the right adjusts the widget from small to medium, and dragging it downward adjusts it to large. Dragging upward or to the left reduces the widget size.
Theme Selection
The homepage theme can be adjusted for appearance. In Edit mode, the option is available under More -> Change theme with four theme variations: Neutral, Sunrise, Blue, and Purple. The selected theme is applied immediately, and the preference is saved upon confirming with the Done button.
