External Release Notes: Web UI (January 8, 2026)
New Features and Enhancements
Filter Trash from Last 180 Days
Users can now filter the trash to view the items deleted in the last 180 days. This is also the default selection in the Deleted date filter. This helps users locate recently deleted items faster, reduces the need for manual filter adjustments, and improves efficiency when reviewing, restoring, or managing deleted content.
'All Requests' Dashboard in Egnyte Sign
Administrators can now access the All Requests dashboard for managing Egnyte Sign requests. Admins can track request status, open individual requests, and perform the same actions available to the original requestor, such as sending reminders, canceling requests, replacing signers, & downloading documents.
This enables administrators to view and manage all Egnyte Sign requests from a single place, making it easier to track progress and take timely action.
Egnyte Sign is available as part of the PDF File Handler Add-On. Contact your account manager or Egnyte Sales team to get access to this feature.
Egnyte to Egnyte Connector Renamed as Content Bridge
The Egnyte to Egnyte Connector is now called Content Bridge across Secure & Govern and Collaborate. This is a naming update only and does not change how the feature works. All existing functionality and behavior remain the same, with a clearer name that better reflects how content is synced across Egnyte domains.
This change will be gradually rolled out in the upcoming weeks.
Multi-Lingual Support for Upload Link Page
The Upload Link page now displays in the language based on the browser’s locale settings for anonymous users. For logged-in users, the page displays in the language set in their Web UI preferences.
Issues Addressed
Error in Downloading Certificate of Completion
A few users encountered an error when attempting to download Certificate of Completion documents from Egnyte Sign. This was happening when the file name contained special characters. Egnyte has now updated the file download process to correctly handle special characters in file names.
