Improved Link Sharing Experience
This update includes several enhancements to improve the link sharing experience on the Android app:
- Enhanced performance and stability during link sharing operations
- UI refinements for a smoother sharing workflow
- Improved handling of password-protected links, including validation for length and strength
- General fixes and improvements for folder and file sharing across the app
File Upload Enhancement - Large Upload Warning
To help maintain performance during uploads, the app now shows a warning when a large number of files are added (typically over 200). Uploads are not limited, but users are advised to consider smaller batches for a smoother experience.
Issues Addressed
Fix for Native File Sharing Issue on Android
Attempting to share a file (for example, PDF or image) to Egnyte via the native Android share menu showed an incorrect You are offline message, even when connected to the internet. Sharing files from third-party apps now works as expected.
