External Release Notes: Desktop App for Windows v 3.26.1 (June 17, 2025)
Issues Addressed
Homepage Not Loading After System Wake-Up
Desktop App homepage failed to load after the computer resumed from sleep. The app now reliably restores homepage access following wake-up events.
PowerGEOPAK File Upload Handling
Improved compatibility with PowerGEOPAK’s file-saving behavior. The application previously blocked uploads when the process reported file sizes larger than actual data written, leading to potential conflict copies. PowerGEOPAK is now correctly recognized, allowing such files to upload as intended.
Delayed or Failed Saves via Smart Cache
Addressed performance issues that impacted file saving when connected to Smart Cache. Previously, some save operations were delayed or failed under specific conditions. The updated handling improves reliability and responsiveness during saves.
Crash on Uploads Tab Access
In certain scenarios, clicking on the Uploads tab caused the application to crash. The tab now opens reliably across all supported scenarios.
Improved Error Messaging for Unavailable File Paths
Enhanced the clarity of error messages shown when attempting to access unavailable file paths from the homepage. Previously, users received a generic message; the updated wording now provides clearer guidance on why the path cannot be accessed.
Intermittent Disconnects and Crashes
Identified and resolved a race condition that could lead to intermittent disconnections and application crashes.
