Issues Addressed
File Version Inconsistency From SmartCache Devices
An issue was identified where the Desktop App could unintentionally overwrite the latest file version with outdated content when retrieving files from Smart Cache devices. This occurred when a Smart Cache device returned an older file version, which the Desktop App accepted. The system then uploaded this outdated file, replacing newer edits made by another user.
Improved Handling Of Version Conflicts From Smart Cache Devices
Conflict copies were generated even when only one user had edited a file. This occurred when the Desktop App accepted an outdated version of the file returned by a Smart Cache device. When the file was uploaded, the system detected a mismatch in size or version—resulting in a conflict, especially if another user had already saved changes in the meantime.
