New Features and Enhancements
Internal Guest OS Upgrade
Smart Cache device guest OS is upgraded from Debian 10.13 to 11, which provides better and enhanced security fixes. Deployment of new Debian OS will happen in multiple phases and batches.
Enhancements to Cache Warming and Folder Synchronization UI
Few minor enhancements have been carried out on the below settings pages to provide clearer use cases to end users on how to utilize the feature as shown below. A Learn More link is also added to redirect users to the FAQ for more information and best practices.
Issues Addressed
Updated Tooltip Information for Storage and Persistence Policies
Tooltip information is updated for Storage and Persistence policies to make it clear to the end users on what are the boundaries of the policy.
Issues with Updating IP Address on Smart Cache Device
An error occurred while changing the static IP address of the Smart Cache device, preventing the update. This issue was also encountered when using DHCP and a new IP address was assigned.
Folder Move Operation Permissions
The user can successfully carry out the ‘Move’ operation on a folder only when the sub-folders have Full folder permissions or above.
Container Logs Filled Up the Disk Space
An internal bug in the container caused a sudden spike in the logs, using up significant disk space and causing the system to run out of storage.
