Egnyte's Different Access Points


Egnyte allows users to access and edit files from several different access points, but different access points are best utilized in different scenarios. Where should I use it?

On your laptop or desktop, with or without an internet connection.

Any web browser while connected to the Internet.

On the go, especially when you need to make quick changes.

How do I get it?

Download and install the Desktop App on your computer.

Log in to your <domain name>.egnyte.com account on any web browser.

Download the Egnyte app on your iOS, Android, or Windows Mobile Device.

Where do my files reside?

Files reside in the cloud but are accessed from your computer (network drive or volume).

What are the benefits?

No storing local copies of files on your computer and offline access is available.
