Egnyte provides its users with the ability to easily navigate through the available options in the Collaborate platform. Quick access to all the files and folders is available from the homepage. Alternatively, the users can click on any of the left hand menu options to navigate through the Web UI.
Product Navigation Bar
The product navigation bar has the product-specific menu options, such as Files, Copilot Hub, Links, Trash, Settings, and others for easy access.
Click on any of these sub-menu items to access the respective option.
Users can also collapse the navigation bar.
Application Switcher
To switch between different Egnyte applications such as Collaborate and Secure & Govern, users (entitled to access the applications) can use the App-Switcher in the top-left corner.
Accessing Files & Folders
Users can access files and folders by clicking on the Files option.
They can click on the specific folder in the folder tree to access its contents. Users can also expand and collapse the displayed folder tree.
When the user accesses a particular folder, they can scroll towards the right to view all the columns available. The first column remains frozen for easier navigation.
Settings Menu
All settings can be easily managed from a single place in the Settings menu.
Help & Resource Icons
Help & Resource icons are available in the sidebar on the right bottom-left of the page.
Help
Opens the in-product Help Center, where users can search for specific topics, explore detailed guides on various features, and find step-by-step instructions to resolve common queries. They can contact the support team from this screen for further assistance.
Egnyte Community
Egnyte community provides quick and easy access to numerous resources, including peer-to-peer discussions, specialty groups and curated support, training and best practice resources via the Insights Lab.
Egnyte University
Egnyte University includes learning resources for the Egnyte users and admins. Users can take a course and learn at their own pace. They can also register for live training sessions and master specific features with Quick Tip videos.
Product Updates
Users can access product updates by clicking on the icon in the sidebar. They can click on any of the recent blogs or navigate to view the recent updates.
