Smart Cache - Notification Center and Pending Operations

Notification Center and Pending Operations for Smart Cache are designed to improve observability and troubleshooting for administrators.

Notification Center acts as a history log for Error, Warning, and Information updates, such as consistency checks. Admins can view Message, Date on which alert was initiated, and hover over icons to access specific recommendations.

Pending operations display File/Folder operations currently in progress, including reading, saving, deleting, uploading, and renaming. This page includes details such as Item name, Size, Initiated by, Date initiated, and Progress.

This enables the admins to:

  • Gain observability into alerts, system activity, and ongoing operations
  • Self-troubleshoot or determine if they should wait for processes to complete
  • Provide more detailed information when reaching out to support
