New Features and Improvements
AI Connectors
Users can now leverage external app connectors directly within AI Assistant conversations on mobile. A new source selector allows users to view and toggle which connected apps (for example: Slack, Outlook, or Salesforce) AI Assistant on Mobile draws from when responding to prompts. Connector setup and management remains exclusively in the Egnyte web AI Hub; on mobile, users see and control only the connectors they have already configured on the web. AI Assistant responses combine Egnyte file insights with information pulled from all active external connectors, enabling richer, cross-platform answers without leaving the mobile app.
Share AI Assistant Chat Links
Users can generate a secure, shareable link for any AI Assistant conversation and send it to colleagues via email or messaging apps. Recipients authenticated on the same Egnyte domain can open the link in the app to view the full transcript and continue the conversation in their own private AI Assistant session.
Search Enhancements
The Egnyte Android Search experience has been updated with more precise filtering options. The Updated by filter now features an inline auto-suggest field that queries the corporate directory as users type, and the Modified and Uploaded date filters have been upgraded from preset options to full calendar date pickers for custom date ranges. A new Geolocation filter enables users to find files based on GPS metadata — either within a set radius of their current location or near a specific address — and a new Content filter lets users narrow results to files, folders, or both.

Users on domains with an active AI Add-on also have access to a new AI-driven search mode that allows finding files using conversational language. Queries such as pdf contract are automatically translated into structured search parameters applying file type, date range, and other filters without requiring users to navigate filter menus manually. Users on domains without the AI Add-on will continue to see the standard search experience with the updated filters described above.
