New Features and Enhancements
Quick View
With Quick View, users can quickly preview files without leaving the content listing and search results panels, to go back-and-forth to try to locate the one file they’re looking for.
Quick View can be invoked by clicking the dedicated button, which on cursor hover overlays the file icon. Quick View features preview of the file, buttons for handy actions, and the option to generate an AI summary of the file.
This feature is currently available on Business, Enterprise Lite, Enterprise, Starter, Essentials, Elite and Ultimate plans. Presence of the AI Summary section depends on availability of Ask or the Egnyte Copilot Add-on. Contact the Egnyte account manager or Egnyte Sales team to get access to this feature.
Improved Filter Controls in Search
The filter options in Advanced Search have been streamlined with one-click filter removal, visual filter tags, and the option to reset all filters. This makes it easier to review, adjust, and clear applied filters, helping users refine searches faster and find the right content more efficiently.
Folder Level Control to Enable or Disable Upload Links
Egnyte now offers the ability to allow upload link creation for a specific folder under details & options. This will enable the users with more granular controls to have folder-level policies for requesting files from external stakeholders using upload links.
If the setting is disabled, all the users will be restricted from creating upload links for the folder.
Egnyte Sign - Option to Override Signed Document Location while Applying the Template
While applying a template for sending Egnyte Sign requests, users can now choose to override the signed document location defined in the template. This provides greater flexibility, allowing documents to be stored directly in the preferred location for easier organization and access.
Egnyte Sign is available as part of the PDF File Handler Add-On. Contact the Egnyte account manager or Egnyte Sales team to get access to this feature.
Issues Addressed
Search Issue in MEM Domains
There was an issue with search of Multiple Entity Management (MEM) connected domains as the option was not visible.
