Egnyte For SharePoint Online v2 Upgraded Integration
Egnyte is now offering an upgraded Egnyte for SharePoint Online integration (v2) to its users offering real-time sync, enhanced performance, full Egnyte Web UI access, and granular control.
Microsoft has officially announced the retirement of the SharePoint Add-in model. As a result, the legacy Egnyte for SharePoint Online (v1) integration will be retired and will stop functioning on April 2, 2026.
To continue using the upgraded integration, it is recommended to follow the steps as listed below:
- Disable and Remove the Legacy (v1) Integration.
- Install Egnyte for SharePoint Online v2.
- Update the SharePoint pages for seamless access.
