Copilot -  Increased Limits for Multi-source Selection and @filename Tagging

External Release Notes: Copilot (February 5, 2026)

New Features and Enhancements

Increased Limits for Multi-Source Selection in Copilot

Users can now select up to 20 sources (files or folders) as context for their Copilot conversation via the source selector and multi-file selection, up from the previous limit of 10 sources. This enhancement enables deeper context awareness, more informed responses, and smoother workflows when working across multiple related documents.

Increased File Limits for @<filename> Tagging in Copilot and Agents

Users can now tag up to 20 files directly within a prompt using @filename in both Copilot and Agents. This expands the earlier limit of 10 and allows users to provide broader context, resulting in more relevant insights and smoother multi-file interactions.
