Prerequisites and Initial Steps
For Admins
- Individual M365 License including at least Teams, Outlook or MS Copilot, licences are listed on Microsoft page.
- Egnyte Admin permissions
- Global Admin in Microsoft tenant
For End User
- Admin must complete configuration steps for both Microsoft and Egnyte integration for 365 (Activation affects all domain users or all users in selected Microsoft Entra groups using Microsoft Teams)
- Individual M365 License (including at least Teams, Outlook or MS Copilot)
- Co-Editable links are only supported for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files. In addition, Microsoft Office Online integration must be enabled for the domain. Shared Files can be co-edited once a sharing link was posted on the channel or file is in the shared/target/default folder.
