New Features And Enhancements
Save & Share Views when Browsing by Metadata Tags
Save and share views when browsing by metadata tags is now available to all customers.
Users can also Rename or Remove saved views as needed.
This feature enables quicker access to commonly used tag-based views, making it easier to find relevant content without repeating the same steps. It also allows users to create uniform standardized views that can be shared and used across an organization.
This feature, previously in Limited Availability, is now available to all customers except for those on Document Room Plans.
Folder Insights - Status Badge
Folder Insights feature has been enhanced to include a status badge in the folder view when files in a folder meet specific aging and duplication thresholds.
This provides better notification to the users when the folder contents might need attention.
Folder Insight feature is only available to customers with Secure & Govern plans including the Content Lifecycle View - Enterprise Lite, Enterprise, Elite, Ultimate. Contact your account manager or Egnyte Sales team to get this feature.
Assigned Tasks Widget on Home Page
The Tasks Assigned to Me widget is now available to all customers on Egnyte Homepage, designed to streamline task management for users.
This widget provides a consolidated view of all Workflow tasks and Secure & Govern issues assigned to the current user, displaying the task name and due date for quick reference. When users click on a specific task, they are navigated directly to the appropriate section to complete the task.
This new widget is available on the home page of both the Web UI and Egnyte Desktop App.
This feature, previously in Limited Availability, is now available to all customers.
Team Management - Add Permissions for Multiple Existing Users or Groups (Limited Availability)
Egnyte now provides the ability to add permissions for multiple existing users or groups at once in Team Management.
Issues Addressed
Error in Creating or Modifying Trainable Classifiers
The users encountered an error while creating or modifying the trainable classifiers for metadata tags.
Email Validation Issue in Azure SCIM Sync
There was an issue where existing users synced via Azure SCIM encountered an invalid email error indicating the email was null, even though the email field was not null.
