New Features And Enhancements

AI-Powered Summary for Links Shared via Email 

Egnyte provides users with the ability to generate an AI-powered summary of the shared link when sending it via email. This summary can be added to the optional message, giving recipients helpful context about the link and making the communication more informative and efficient.

Improved Security for Links Shared with Specific Recipients 

For links shared with external users via the People you choose option, recipients are required to authenticate themselves with a unique code sent to their email address, even on their initial access to the file or folder. This adds an extra layer of security, ensuring that only the intended individuals can view the shared content. 

Exploded Events in File Audit Reports

The file audit report now includes only the first 500 trigger actions in sub-folders per folder for move, copy, and delete actions. Additional details are captured in the Exploded Events Count column. This enhancement is now available to all customers.

Team Management Improvements (Limited Availability)

• Team management option now appears for Admins or Power Users with at least full permissions to the root project folder. Earlier, it was required to have either can manage projects or can manage document rooms privilege and can manage all groups.
• It is now possible to open team management from the subfolder of the project (earlier it was possible to open only from the root folder)
• If the user is an Admin or Group Owner, they can add new or remove existing group members after clicking on the members option.

The current release contains a few improvements to existing functionality.

• Minor UI improvements.
• Minor bug fixes.
