New Features and Enhancements
Issue Categories
Issue Categories are now available in Secure and Govern, helping administrators and power users quickly identify and prioritize the security risks that matter most to their organization.
The Issues page now has quick filters for three categories based on their level of risk and urgency:
- Threat - Potential security incidents requiring immediate attention that could indicate a breach in progress
- Exposure - Data that has been shared outside of the organization and may result in unauthorized access
- Access Hygiene - Issues with permissions and access that can complicate administration and create unnecessary risk over time
By default, the Threat category will be selected, ensuring the most critical security concerns are immediately visible. Secure & Govern users can easily switch between categories or customize filters as needed.
Last Scan Completion Date in Permissions View
The Permissions View page now includes the date of when the last permissions scan was completed. Any permissions that were added, changed or removed from Collaborate during the scan will not be reflected until after the next scan completion.
Original Source and Destination Paths Included in Archival Stub Files
Stub files created during the archival process will now include both the original location of the file and the original archival destination. If files are moved after the archival process, this information can help identify the initial location and configuration.
Egnyte to Egnyte Connector 2-Way Sync (Limited Availability)
Egnyte to Egnyte Connector enables customers to sync the contents of selected folders across separate Egnyte tenants. Users can now set up bi-directional Egnyte to Egnyte Connections, allowing for updates made in connected folders to sync in both directions.
