Advanced Watermarking (General Availability)
Egnyte now offers enhanced watermarking capability to provide even better data protection for your content. With this premium feature, you will be able to include more dynamic components to the watermark – the name and the email address of the user who is previewing/downloading the document from Egnyte.

Changed label for opening file through WebEdit
The label for a button to edit files on the desktop through the WebEdit application has been changed.
Previously it was “Edit on your desktop”, now it is “Edit in WebEdit App”
Issues Addressed
Issue in Preserving Filtered User Groups
There was an issue with the user group management workflow where the filtered user groups were not preserved when a user went back to the filtered list after performing an action on one of the filtered user groups. This issue has been resolved.
Issue in Previewing Some PDF Files
There was an issue with previewing PDF files that had a % symbol in the file name. This issue was observed while previewing the file from storage and via shared links. This issue has been resolved.
Issue in Deleting Disabled Users from MSP Portal
There was an issue with deleting users from the MSP Portal where the admin was getting an error while trying to delete a disabled admin account. This issue has been resolved.
Issue in Deleting a Link via API
There was an issue where the customer was receiving 500 internal server errors sporadically while deleting the links through API. This issue has been resolved.
Issue in Accessing Files via SFTP for Some Users
There was an issue while accessing files from Egnyte via SFTP where the vendor of the customer could not use SFTP as their software did not support the special character “$” as the username separator. This issue has been resolved by supporting other special characters for username separator.
BIM Preview - External Link Issue
There was an issue with previewing BIM files in the Egnyte WebUI when shared externally via a link. If the file had not been processed prior to generating the link, the BIM preview would fail and would fall back to download. This issue has been resolved, and the recipients of these shared links will now be able to preview the file.
