Secure & Govern V 26.7 - Retention and Deletion Policies for Inactive Locations

External Release Notes: Secure & Govern v 26.7 (July 22, 2026)

New Features and Enhancements

Retention and Deletion Policies for Inactive Locations

Retention and Deleting are now supported for Inactive locations. For deletion, both policy-based and on-demand deletion are supported. For retention, both default retention and policy-based retention are supported. This enables the organizations to manage content consistently throughout its lifecycle.

Update to Stub File Visibility in Policy Match Details

When a Content Lifecycle policy is configured to delete stub files after a specified period, stub files marked for deletion are no longer included in the policy's list of matched files. Previously, the stub files were listed along with the other files that would be acted on by the policy, leading to possible confusion about how the policy acts on the stub files.

Issues View Updates

Customers with a high volume of Issues could experience slow load times when opening the Issues view, filtering by status, or opening a single Issue. The Issues view is now faster in these scenarios, with results now capped at 100,000 matching Issues. The default date range has also changed from 12 months to 90 days; any existing saved filters have been updated accordingly. The Issues view also introduces two new status groups, Active (Open, In Progress and Action Pending) and Inactive (Dismissed and Resolved), so admins can narrow results without selecting each status one by one.
