New Features and Enhancements

Quick Access to Product Knowledge with Help Assistant 

Egnyte has launched Help Assistant, a virtual assistant that provides direct access to information from the Egnyte Helpdesk within the product. Users can ask questions in natural language and receive responses based on Helpdesk documentation, along with links to relevant articles for additional information.

Help Assistant assists users find answers faster, discover product features, locate instructions, and resolve common questions without manually searching through documentation.

Issues Addressed

Issues in Saving Searches

Users encountered an issue when saving searches that included specific folder filters, resulting in an error message. Searches without folder filters continued to save and function correctly.

Incomplete Search Results 

Search using Item Name filter showed partial search results. In addition, users experienced issues navigating through search results across multiple pages.

Additional Information and Resources

The current release contains a few improvements to existing functionality.

  • Minor UI Improvements
  • Minor performance, security, and stability improvements
  • Minor bug fixes

 These changes will be available to all users by June 17, 2026.
