External Release Notes: eTMF v10.1 (June 17, 2026)
We are pleased to announce a minor release for the eTMF application which introduces enhancements to the eTMF Completeness Report, including asynchronous report generation with email notifications and a centralized folder in the Collaborate environment for accessing generated reports.
New Features and Enhancements
eTMF Completeness Report Enhancements
Rather than receiving a direct download, users who select the Export full report option within the eTMF Reports tab will now see a pop-up linking to a folder within their Collaborate environment where reports are saved.
Exported reports are saved to a __Reports__ folder within eTMF, organized into subfolders by user. Access to these folders is role-based: Power Users with an eTMF role and Administrators can view all user folders, while other users can only access their own subfolder.
Exported report files follow a consistent naming convention: etmf_completeness_report_<studyCode>_<yy-MM-dd_HH-mm-ss>.csv
Once a report has been successfully generated, the requesting user will receive an email titled Your eTMF Completeness Report is ready containing a link to their user folder under the __Reports__ parent folder in their Collaborate environment. If the report could not be generated, the user will instead receive an email titled Your eTMF Completeness Report could not be generated along with an error ID to assist with troubleshooting.
