New Features and Improvements
AI Feature Visibility Based on AI Safeguards Settings
AI-powered features in the Desktop App are now automatically hidden for users restricted by AI Safeguards policies. This ensures the app experience aligns with admin-defined controls and prevents access to AI functionality where it is not permitted.
Search Shortcut in the Desktop App
A keyboard shortcut ⌘ +⇧ + Space (Cmd + Shift + Space) lets users quickly open the search interface in Desktop App Core and go directly into the search field. The shortcut can be customized from the Preferences tab for a more personalized experience.
Move or Copy Action For Folders via Desktop App Context Menu
Users can now initiate Move or Copy actions for folders directly from the Egnyte Actions menu. Selecting the option opens a streamlined experience to choose the destination and complete the action seamlessly via a web browser.

How to Upgrade
Visit the Desktop App installers article to download and install the latest version of the Desktop App or update the existing app to the newest version on all the devices. It may take a few days for the latest version to propagate to all user devices. However, users can manually upgrade their app immediately after the release.
