New Features and Enhancements
Copilot Renamed to Egnyte’s AI Assistant
Egnyte Copilot is now renamed to Egnyte’s AI Assistant. This is a name change only, with no changes to existing functionality or features. The updated naming brings greater clarity and consistency across Egnyte’s AI offerings, making it easier for users to identify, access, and use AI-powered capabilities.
Users can now navigate to the AI offerings from the AI option in the bottom navigation bar, previously labeled as Copilot Hub.
AI Assistant Prompt Library
The Prompt Library is now available on mobile, allowing users to access and insert high-quality, pre-defined prompts directly from the AI Assistant input area. This update enables filtering prompts by Type, Task Categories, Job Types, and Document Types. Users can also mark specific prompts as favorites for quick access on the go.
Custom-created prompts are currently not supported in the mobile app.
End of Support for iOS 17
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible experience for our users, we will no longer support iOS 17 in the Egnyte iOS app. This means that users whose devices use iOS 17 will no longer receive app updates, new features, or bug fixes. To continue receiving updates and support, we recommend updating to the latest version of iOS available for your device.

How to Upgrade
Visit the Apple AppStore to download the latest version of the Egnyte iOS Mobile App (v 9.5) or update the existing app to the newest version on all devices. It may take up to seven days for the latest version to propagate to all user devices. However, users can manually upgrade their app immediately after the release.
