AI Chat Enhancements
New Chat and Chat History
Egnyte Copilot Chat now supports starting a new chat to reset the conversation, as well as accessing chat history to revisit and continue previous discussions.
Response Streaming
Response Streaming is now available in Egnyte Copilot Chat on Android, enabling answers to appear progressively as they are generated.
Preview Improvements
AI Support in File Preview
AI Driven Document Ask and Summarization is now available when opening shared document links in the Egnyte app, allowing logged-in users with access to get AI assistance directly within the preview.
Issues Addressed
Photo Upload Stability During Capture
When capturing and uploading new photos to a folder, the app could close unexpectedly during the upload process.
The underlying upload handling logic has been improved, which should prevent this behavior from occurring.
File Upload via VPN
Previously, users might have experienced issues where photo uploads remained in a "waiting" state or failed to start when a VPN connection was active.
We have updated the upload logic to ensure that files transfer correctly even when a VPN is enabled, removing the need to manually disconnect the VPN to complete the process.
