New Features and Enhancements
Egnyte's AI Assistant Chat
Egnyte's AI Assistant is now available in the iOS mobile experience, bringing AI-powered assistance directly into everyday workflows. AI Assistant provides a conversational interface grounded in the organization's data, offering concise answers, helping locate files, and supporting a wide range of workplace tasks through natural dialogue.
An Ask Me Anything button has been introduced on core file and folder interaction screens, enabling quick access to AI Assistant Chat as needed.
This feature is available for customers having Platform Plans with AI Add-on and included in the New Generation Platform plans. Contact the account manager or Egnyte Sales team for more information.
Quick Access Widget
A Quick Access widget was added to the iOS homepage. It provides one-tap access to the following actions:
- Scan documents
- Take a photo or video
- Upload photo or video
- Upload file
- Geotagged photos

How to Upgrade
Visit the Apple AppStore to download the latest version of the Egnyte iOS Mobile App (v 9.2) or update the existing app to the newest version on all the devices. It may take up to seven days for the latest version to propagate to all user devices. However, users can manually upgrade their app immediately after the release.
