New Features and Enhancements
New API for Sensitivity Labels
Egnyte now supports the API for sensitivity labels recently released and made generally available by Microsoft Graph. The customers who have at least one M365 content source that is already authorized for importing Purview labels are impacted with this change.
- Additional Purview labels can be imported into Egnyte once these customers add a Microsoft permission on their Microsoft Entra admin portal.
- Wait for at least 30 minutes for the new permission to be propagated before attempting to import additional sensitivity labels.
- There are no changes required within their Egnyte domain.
- Purview labels that are already imported into Egnyte will continue to work as expected.
This change does not impact the new customers or existing customers who add a new M365 content source and then authorize it for importing Purview labels.
Encryption Indicator and Warning Message for Labels that Carry Encryption
An encryption indicator has now been added to all the labels that carry encryption, enabling users to easily identify them.
Unified and Simplified Migration and Replication Experience (Limited Availability)
Egnyte has now introduced a new option called Migrate & Replicate in Secure & Govern. It enables the users to view the existing migration or replication jobs, add a new source, create a new job, and manage the content sources.
This provides a simplified, centralized way to manage all migration and replication jobs.
This feature is currently in Limited Availability. To request this feature, contact our Products team.
