Personal Tab - Egnyte for M365 (MS Teams and Outlook)
Egnyte has now enabled a Personal Tab for M365 integration for Microsoft Teams and Outlook. The Personal Tab provides users with a centralized space to access and manage their Egnyte files, bookmarks, and shared links directly within Teams or Outlook. Users can view, upload, and organize their content, generate or manage share links, and perform key file actions.
In Teams, admins can pin the Egnyte Personal tab during the setup so that it is visible to all users. However, if the admin does not enable the tab, users can individually perform the action.
Drag and Drop and Rename Actions in the Egnyte Tab and Personal Tab (MS Teams and Outlook)
Users can now perform the following additional actions in the Egnyte and Personal Tab:
- Drag and Drop allows users to drag and drop a file directly from their local storage into their Egnyte Tab or Personal Tab without needing to invoke the Egnyte application.
- Rename gives the ability to rename a file or a folder directly in the Egnyte Tab or Personal Tab. All the changes will be automatically synced with Egnyte.
