External Release Notes: Web UI (September 18, 2025)
New Features And Enhancements
Edit the Latest Prompt in Ask
Users now have the option to edit the most recent prompt in Ask during their interaction on a document. This is useful for users to quickly correct typos, add more context, or refine their request, helping them get more accurate and relevant responses without having to retype the entire prompt.
Consent Control in Feedback for Responses in Ask
When users provide negative feedback on a response in Ask, a pop-up appears explaining that Egnyte may review logs to investigate the issue. Users can choose to give consent or opt out. Egnyte will only use logs to address the user issue.
Set Job Details during Password Reset
If users did not provide their job details while setting up their account, they now get an option to add them during password reset. They can choose to skip or provide the details, which will then be saved to their profile. This helps keep the user profile complete and up to date.
