Add a New Replication Destination

Prerequisites

Before adding Amazon S3 or Wasabi as a Replication destination, the user must configure their S3 or Wasabi bucket permissions as described here. For Azure Blob Storage, the user must configure their storage account permissions as described here.

IMPORTANT: Do not register an S3 bucket as an External Replication destination if it is currently being used as a Content Lifecycle Filtered Location. The two services are mutually exclusive and the user will incur unnecessary egress charges if they use the same instance for both services.

Add Amazon S3 or Wasabi as an External Replication Destination

  1. Navigate to Secure & Govern tenant from the app picker menu.

  2. Click on Settings -> Content Lifecycle.
  3. On the Content Lifecycle Settings page, in the External replication destinations, click the Add destination button.
  4. Select from the available destination types.

  6. Click Allow Access.
  7. Upon successful registration, the user will see a confirmation.
  8. Now the destination will appear on the Content Lifecycle Settings dashboard tile.
  9. The user can click on the destination to view its details.
