Egnyte offers Bring Your Own Model (BYOM) capability to its users. Enabling customers to connect their own language models to use Copilot offerings at Egnyte.
This gives organizations more control over how their content is analyzed, summarized, or processed based on the models they trust and prefer to use. Currently, Egnyte supports OpenAI and Anthropic as the providers.
With BYOM, teams can take advantage of custom-tuned models that better understand their specific domain or compliance needs. It also gives companies more flexibility especially for those already investing in AI models.
For certain customers, BYOM provides a way to bring AI closer to their internal policies without giving up the benefits of Egnyte’s platform.
This feature is available for Platform Plans having Copilot add-on. It is included with the New Generation Platform plans (Elite and Ultimate). Please contact the Egnyte Support to have this feature enabled.
