WebUI - Document Portal Share Links & Standard Users Admin Settings

External Release Notes: WebUI (May 08, 2025)

New Features And Enhancements - WebUI

Admin Settings to Control Standard User Search Visibility

A new toggle is available within the User Types & Roles > Standard Users settings to manage whether standard users can search for other standard users while sharing files or folders and assigning workflows. By default, this setting is disabled, preventing standard users from discovering other standard users. When enabled, it allows standard users to search for and view other standard users.

Search API Enhancement: Similar Document Search

This enhancement allows users to find documents that are similar in content to given file(s) and can be focussed with text inputs using two new optional parameters:
mlt (More Like This - Document ID) and mltt (More Like This - Text).
These parameters help users surface relevant content even when exact keywords are not known—making it easier to discover related documents, streamline research, and improve content reuse across the platform. This feature is currently available exclusively to API users.
