New Features And Enhancements
WebUI Visual UI Improvements
Egnyte has made a few UI improvements to create a cleaner, more streamlined experience for the users reducing the visual clutter.
- Height adjustments have been made to the top header bar and branding colour bar.
- The size of the icons used across the board has been increased by a few pixels.
- The menu buttons in the top menu bar of the folder listing have been replaced with the corresponding icons.
Prompts Management in Ask
Egnyte now offers its users the ability to create, use and manage prompts in their interaction on a document using Ask.
With the new Prompt Library, users can:
- Quickly select the available prompts to get accurate, consistent responses faster.
- Create custom prompts tailored to specific workflows or use cases.
- Easily edit or delete custom prompts.
Egnyte Copilot and Knowledge Bases APIs
Egnyte is releasing additional AI APIs enabling users to access more Egnyte AI capabilities outside of Egnyte.
The Egnyte AI APIs in this release include the following key capabilities:
- Get the list of knowledge bases available within the domain.
- Ask a question to a specific knowledge base.
- Ask a question to Egnyte Platform Copilot.

Issues Addressed
View 2025 AutoCAD Files
There was an issue where Egnyte was not rendering file previews for 2025 versions of BIM files. Previews are now displayed correctly. The ruler tool has been kept hidden and will be available once the associated issues are resolved.
Dashboard Tab in Subfolders of Project Folder
Dashboard tab was being displayed in the subfolders of a folder marked as a project and it was listing the files

The current release contains a few improvements to existing functionality.

- Minor bug fixes
These changes will be available to all users by April 17, 2025.
