Issues Addressed

Sequence of File Rename Operations Followed by Subsequent File Upload Getting Stuck Results in Internal Error

In some rare edge cases a series of file rename operations from file1.txt to file1.tmp and then back to file1.txt results in transactions getting stuck for any subsequent upload operations like upload of file will not be done to Egnyte cloud, which results in an internal error issue on the device.

Smart Cache Creating Conflict File Copies in Certain Race Condition Scenario

In some specific race conditions, the Smart Cache was creating a conflict copy of the file when user1 uploads the file and within a few seconds another user acquires the file lock resulting in SC creating a conflict file copy. Later, when multiple users modify the file data, then none of the changes were getting uploaded to Egnyte Cloud. The conflict file copy was getting created unnecessarily during this race condition is now fixed in this release.

Smart Cache Maintenance Upload Speed Test Numbers Issue

The upload speed test option, available through the Smart Cache maintenance command line, was displaying incorrect figures when compared to actual speed test results from external providers.

Smart Cache Deleted Directory Re-Appearing

In some rare corner scenarios, if the user deletes the folder from Desktop App (Hybrid Connected), then the folder would re-appear again after deletion.

Older Version of Files Getting Uploaded to Cloud when Smart Cache Device System Clock is Ahead of Current Time

An issue that arose when the Smart Cache device system clock was a few minutes ahead. This problem specifically occurred in a sequence where a new file was created on the Desktop App (Hybrid Connected), followed by a renaming of the file, which resulted in the older version of the file being uploaded to the Cloud. For instance, if a new Word document was created and saved with some text, reopening the same file would not display the previously saved content. This issue has now been resolved.
