Sensitive content indicator is added to the potential files in the Collaborate Web UI.
This article covers details of the feature, along with the steps to set up and manage the sensitive content indicator. Additionally, use case examples are provided to further illustrate the utility of the feature.
Sensitive Content Indicator feature is only available to customers with Secure & Govern.
Sensitive Content Indicator
When browsing files in Collaborate, files that contain sensitive content will be identified with a red ‘S’ icon at the end of the file name.
By hovering over the icon, the user can find more information about what sensitive content has been detected. Additionally, Admins and any Power Users with the Secure & Govern permissions to Sensitive Content will be provided with a link to Secure & Govern if they wish to investigate further
To customize the Files view in Collaborate and display detailed information about sensitive content findings,
- Navigate to the Files View in Collaborate and click on Edit View.
- Click on Add new metadata columns and add Document Labels → Policy Labels and Pattern Labels → Patterns to the view.
By adding these columns, the user can easily see the specific policy labels and patterns associated with the sensitive content in their files.
Controlling the Sensitive Content Indicator
The sensitive content indicator is displayed for files matching the Sensitive Content Indicator identification (SCII) policy in the Secure & Govern Document Labels settings. By default, this labeling policy uses the Sensitive Content indicator identification (SCII) content classification policy but can be customized to use any classification policy. This labeling policy must be enabled in order for the sensitive content notification to be displayed. Learn more about configuration labeling policies.
