The Public Link analysis rule now has the option to only detect and alert when the link to the file or folder contains sensitive content.

The default setting is set to OFF.

Autodesk Construction Cloud as a Content Source (Limited Availability)

Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is now a supported cloud content source from Egnyte Secure & Govern. By connecting ACC, users will have comprehensive monitoring of data in Autodesk Docs including:

  • Identification of Sensitive Content
  • Visibility into permissions
  • Subject Access Request (SAR) notification
  • Content Lifecycle Visibility
  • Probable ransomware detection
  • And more

The feature is available on request. Please contact Support to have this feature enabled.

Webhooks in S&G (Limited Availability)

Egnyte now provides the ability to create and manage Webhooks from the Secure & Govern User Interface. The users can easily navigate through the steps on the UI to register a new Webhook, view the details of an existing webhook, rename/pause/delete/activate a Webhook in a few clicks.

Currently, there are a maximum of 2 webhooks that can be registered per domain.

The feature is available on request. Please contact Support to have this feature enabled.

Option to Include Subfolders in Folder Based Content Lifecycle Policies

Users now have the option to include all subfolders of a parent folder when creating folder-based Content Lifecycle policies. When this option is selected, all files in the parent folder and all subfolders must match the policy criteria before any action is taken.

Additional Wildcards for Custom Classification Patterns

Users now have two new options to include in Custom Classification Patterns:

  • ‘~’ = exactly one numeric character (0-9)
  • ‘^’ = exactly one letter character (not case-sensitive) (A-Z)

For example:

  • ‘~~~’ = pattern of exactly 3 numbers - would match ‘123’
  • ‘^^^’ = pattern of exactly 3 letters - would match ‘ABC’

Additional Information And Resources

  • Minor performance and stability improvements

  • Minor logging and UI improvements

  • Minor bug fixes

The changes will be available to all users by December 16, 2024.
