Web UI - BIM File Preview Library Upgrade & Miscellaneous Improvements

External Release Notes: WebUI (July 03, 2024)

New Features & Enhancements

BIM File Preview Library Upgrade

The UI library that enables users to preview BIM files in the Egnyte WebUI has been upgraded, resulting in increased performance.

This feature is available via the Specialized File Handler add-on.

Configurable Approval Reasons

For accounts with the Digital Signature feature for workflows, administrators can now add custom approval reasons and delete existing ones, except for the default reason. This feature allows the addition of up to 10 reasons, including the default reason, which cannot be modified. This feature offers the flexibility to customize approval reasons according to specific business requirements.

Assigning Specific Group(s) in Workflow Templates

Workflow creators can now add specific groups as assignees within workflow templates. When a specific group is added to the template, all the users from that group will be added as individual assignees at the workflow instance.

This new feature is designed to save time by eliminating the need to add each user individually and reduces the chance of forgetting any user from a group.
