New Features And Enhancements

Real-Time Folder Update Notifications on Web UI (General Availability)

Egnyte now provides its users with the real-time folder update notifications on the web UI. When other users make changes in the specified shared folder, the user is notified in real-time. The user can refresh the page from the notification to see the updates, or it will disappear automatically after 10 seconds.

Issues Addressed

Account Reactivation Failure

Standard user accounts that were deactivated due to inactivity were immediately getting deactivated upon reactivation.  This was due to the corresponding activity timer not being reset at the time of reactivation.

Issue in Printing JavaScript from Egnyte’s PDF Viewer

There were issues in printing JavaScript components in the PDF files when printed using Egnyte’s PDF Viewer. To address this, embedded print in the Chrome browser will now be used for printing PDF files. For other browsers, the issue will be resolved in the upcoming releases.

Custom URL did not show in Email Notification

First device connected email notification showed regular domain link instead of custom URL both in footer and in mail body.
