Follow

Release Date: May 21, 2024 | Secure & Govern 21.3

New Features and Enhancements

Open Access - Support Whitelisting All Power Users Group

Customers can now prevent Open Access detections for the built-in Egnyte All Power Users group. It's important to monitor large user groups to avoid unnecessary access and data sprawls. Whitelisting trusted sharing groups can reduce Open Access detections, helping administrators focus on the most critical issues found.

Entitled users can now delegate an issue to any non-standard content source user such as admins and power users. If the delegated user does not already have access to Secure & Govern, the user will be automatically added to the Basic Viewer role.
