Public API Usage Restrictions by Plan

Customers’ use of the Egnyte Platform is subject to certain usage caps, limitations, and restrictions, which differ from plan to plan are described below.

By default, all eligible plans have the following Public API usage limits:

(Business/Essentials, Enterprise Lite/Elite, Enterprise/Ultimate)

API Calls per Month 30000

Customers on the following plans may request higher API limits based on their business requirements by contacting Egnyte.

- Egnyte Public API is not available for customers on Trial, legacy Office and Team plans. 
- Egnyte can only approve API keys for domain Admins.
- It is recommended to use a Service Account with Egnyte APIs.
