External Release Notes: Web UI (October 07, 2026)
New Features and Enhancements
Edit an In-progress Signature Request
Senders now have the ability to edit an in-progress signature request. They can edit general information, such as the request name and message, and settings, including the expiration date, reminders, signature forwarding, and signed document location.
This provides greater flexibility to accommodate changes after a request has been sent. The existing request and its signing workflow can continue without requiring senders to cancel and re-create the request.
- Egnyte Sign is available as part of the PDF File Handler Add-On. Contact the Egnyte account manager or Egnyte Sales team for more information.
- Currently, options under General and Settings can be edited for an in-progress signature request.
- Only the senders can edit a signature request. Other users, such as other admins or power users cannot edit the requests.
Deltek Vantagepoint Integration
Egnyte’s native Deltek Vantagepoint integration automatically creates an Egnyte Project when an opportunity or project in the Vantagepoint account meets predefined criteria. The integration continuously monitors the cloud-based Vantagepoint account for these changes to ensure the projects remain up to date. Administrators can easily customize project creation triggers, naming conventions, and save locations, while leveraging Egnyte Project Templates to automatically build standardized folder structures with assigned permissions.
- This integration is currently only supported on the cloud version of Vantagepoint; however support for the on-prem version may be available in the future.
- This feature is available to users with Project Hub or those on AEC Plans (AEC Essentials, AEC Elite, and AEC Ultimate). Contact the Egnyte account manager or Egnyte Sales team for more information.
Multiple Files Input for Agent Step in Workflow Templates
Agent steps can now take multiple files as input, making it possible to chain agents together and build workflows that work across several documents.
When configuring an Agent step, users can now choose exactly which files it receives, such as the source file on which the workflow is applied, any saved files produced by earlier steps in a workflow, such as a PDF file from the PDF conversion step or a file generated by a prior agent step, or any combination of them. Each available file is clearly labeled by the step that created it, so it's easy to pick the right inputs.
AI Actions are available to the customers with the AI add-on enabled. AI Agent step is available to the customers on Elite or Ultimate plans. Contact the Egnyte account manager or Egnyte Sales team for more information.
Copy Folder Path Button
Users can now copy the current folder path with buttons located in the top section of folder view and in the context menu. This allows them to quickly use them in documentation, scripts, AI chats and other places.
It is also present in the context menu, under More actions.
Issues Addressed
Delays in Saving Metadata Tags
Users were experiencing delays when saving metadata tags in the Web UI. Saving the tags was taking 35–60 seconds, with similar performance issues observed across different browsers.
Events API Response Timeout
The Events API could time out when retrieving events from certain cursors, including when requesting a single event.
Back Button for Folder Navigation within Embedded Egnyte UI
The back button was unavailable when navigating between folders in the embedded Egnyte UI within Salesforce, requiring users to return to the top-level navigation to access a previous folder.
Sending Signature Requests using Templates
Signature requests could fail when sent using an Egnyte Sign template if a recipient's email address was already associated with an existing user account.
Document Portal - Issue for Standard Users with Co-editing or Previewing MS Files
There was an issue in the Document Portal resulting in the standard users not being able to co-edit or preview the Microsoft files using MS Online integration.
File Access Issue with Password Protected Share Links
Opening a direct file URL copied from a password-protected folder share link resulted in a blank screen instead of prompting for the share link password.
