New Features and Enhancements
Enhancements to Snapshot Based Ransomware Recovery Coverage
Ransomware can go undetected for weeks or even months after an initial compromise, making the ability to recover from an earlier point critical. Egnyte has enhanced Snapshot-based Ransomware Recovery to extend the available recovery history, giving customers more flexibility and a longer window to restore data from an earlier point in time.
- For customers on the Ultimate plan, Ransomware Recovery coverage now expands from 90 days to 120 days.
- For customers on any other plan (or the Snapshot Recovery Add-On), coverage now expands from 30 days to 50 days.
To accommodate the longer coverage timeframe, there are changes to the snapshot delivery schedule, which enable consistent scheduling across all Egnyte plans.
