Egnyte Collaborate Webhook UI Overview

The Webhook UI in Egnyte Collaborate provides a centralized, user-friendly interface for customers to create, manage, and check webhooks without relying on APIs or backend configurations.

Webhooks enable real-time event-driven integrations by allowing external systems to receive notifications whenever specific actions occur within Egnyte (for example; file uploads, deletions, creation, and more).

With the Webhook UI, admins can:

  • Easily configure webhooks through a guided interface
  • Select and subscribe to specific event types
  • Manage webhook lifecycle (create, update, delete)
  • Improve integration speed without engineering dependency

This UI removes the complexity of manual API-based setup and empowers both technical and semi-technical users to integrate Egnyte with external systems efficiently.

Key Capabilities

Webhook Creation

  • Define endpoint URLs where events should be delivered
  • Select event types (for example; file actions, permission changes)
  • Configure authentication
  • Enable or disable webhooks at creation time

Webhook Management

  • View a list of all configured webhooks
  • Edit webhook configurations (events types and webhook name)

    • File upload, update, or delete
