Uploading Geotagged Photos

The Egnyte Mobile App allows users to easily identify all photos taken at a specific geographic location and then upload them to a specified folder. 

Uploading Geotagged Photos

To find and upload photos taken at a geographic location, follow the steps listed below:

  1. Navigate to the desired folder.
  2. Tap the Create or upload (+) button in the bottom-right of the screen.

  3. Choose Photos from specific location (in iOS) or Geo-tagged photos (in Android).

  4. If prompted, allow the Egnyte app to access location data.
  5. Use the map to identify the location where the photos were taken.  The map can be zoomed, panned, or searched to find the location.
  6. Use the radius slider to select how wide an area around the location should be included.

  7. Choose the time period to search. Photos can be found from the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or from any time.

  8. Tap the Find Photos button to identify photos at the location.

  9. If prompted, allow the Egnyte app to access photos and media.
  10. Tap the Upload button to upload all of the identified photos.
