Sometimes a Controlled Document within Egnyte may relate to another Controlled Document. For example, multiple documents may relate to the same quality event, such as a CAPA document and a deviation document. In such scenarios, it can be useful to capture that relationship formally within the system by creating a link between those two documents, allowing easy navigation between them.

Viewing linked documents
Once a document link has been created, linked documents can be viewed in the File Information of a document.
Clicking a linked document will open that document within Controlled Documents. If a user does not have permission to view that document, the document name will display, but will not be clickable.
If a link is created from Document A to Document B, both documents will display that link within their File Information.
